I was holding a SCB credit card during 2004-2005. I had taken an insta buy loan (which they said was an offer on my card) and closed the loan by the end of 2005. I also requested for closing the card after that (I never recd closure letter but they stopped sending monthly statements).
Now after 1.5 years, I received a call from their collection department sayig that theres an outstanding amt of 5, 500/ (as on Aug-2005) on the card & I need to pay it immediately. She never listened to whatever I said and spoke so rudely that I have never had such a bad experience.
She does not have any details of the bill. She says she can not even give me the detailed statement. All she knows is that I need to pay 5.5K.
I had never received any statement in the last 1.5 yrs for this.
I called the customer care & they told me that Ill recv the statement in a weeks time.
When she called me the next time I told her that I spoke to customer care & was waiting for the statement and she replied "you go to manager or whoever they will not be able to help you"!!!
When I said this is not the way she spoke to a customer she said I have seen many customers"!!!!
I am waiting for the statement .
