I had a manhattan card and using it for the past 6 months. Then one fine morning a salesman called me and told that they have an advantage addon package which contains some insurance, travel pack, discounts in hotels, hospitals etc. It was around 4000Rs for this offer.
I thought it will be good and took it. Later I found that all the offers they told me has got some conditions which made it not useful. for example, in some hospitals the offer is valid for only health checkups and nothing else, very limited number of hotels, and to avail the travel pack, I need to give them some 1000Rs which they will refund as gift coupon so that to avail that I need to travel again. Manhattan is a Bunch of crooks I would say.
I asked for a refund and they refunded only 75% of the amount. I lost a cool 1000Rs in this transaction. They r just frauds and money suc*ing machines. I have canceled the card and happy now. Never take any add-on package from them. If anyone one calls you for this offer, ask them to get lost.. thats the only way you are going to save your money. Say No to Manhattan credit cards!! You will remain happy...
