I want to share my first experience with staples...near koramangala..(i dont know if it has othr branches).Well its a store where you mainly get stationary items and electronics...
The ground floor mainly contains so many stationary items...books, bags, pens...etc...but the only problem is the cost...
The cost of the files, folders and notebooks is more compared to the quality which u get...i think there are many places where you get the same quality books at a lesser cost...
The first floor contains a wide variety of electronics goods..that day we went to know the details of a laptop which my friend thought of buying...
There was a gud collection of laptops which were kept for display...companies like ACER, LENOVO, HP, COMPAQ were there for display....the sales guy was also friendly...and he knew some technical stuff...he cleared all the doubts which I had about the laptop...I was intrested in a LENOVO laptop.
Now comes the cost of it... there was a paper placed beside the laptop on which the price was mentioned... It had a MRP Rs.51, 000 written and struck off and then staples price 47, 000 written.
I thought it to be a good offer because he reduced 4000rs and which is a good discount...
The sales guy promised to give me 2000/- more discount if I took the laptop that day itself..making the net cost 45, 000/-
I was like surprised by the amount reduced by him...
There were other offers like free wireless mouse..but not valid on this particular laptop...
OK coool...it seems... but here comes the real surprise...
i did not take the laptop that day and thought of enquiring some other place before confirming my buy there...
so I went to digitech mall(BTM layout)..and enquired the price of the same laptop..they said the cost of it is around 44, 600/- and they would be giving a 15GB pendrive free if I took the laptop...
I was shocked that staples people have increased the price and said they would be giving 2000/- discount...
I was lucky that I enquired at other places..now I took a laptop in digitech mall...
So people pls make your home work before you buy a particular item...other wise you would end up paying so much money
