I was biased that whether to right this or not but being an ex-TATA employee I think I should write this. I along with my father went Star Bazaar Phoenix market city on 25 April 2016 @ approx 7PM.
1) I am regular customer to Star bazaar at phoenix, Pune
2) There was a basket full of spoiled mangos near weighting counter. We enquired(there was an employee “ A” working on weighting m/c)about that and got to know that they are selling these mangos at 5o/- Rs per Kg. Out of curiosity we checked the mangos to know about quality. We noticed that there were three different kinds of mangos which were never spoiled. We picked up these three mangos and handed over to Employee A to label it. When he noticed the mangos he started to label it according to its real category(not 50/-per kg). We asked him about the price, he answer was “I don’t know the bar code number for this.” Then he joined with another employee B. Both of them were acting weird for weighting these 3 mangos. After lot of false tactics finally Employee A got correct code and labelled the bag(total half an hour wasted). They won’t bother to mind our presence to pack and label only 2 mangos not 3. When we asked about their answer was “this mango is not for 50/- category”. We simply left without that bag of mangos as we already have had packed our mangos from fresh category. It clearly justifies that the employees steal / purchase items from shop in totally wrong way. Don’t know if store authorities are aware about these practices. I then filled complaint form(which I don’t know ever accessed) and left the place with arrr feeling for TATA group. The two employees were Mr.Sopan and Mr.Rakesh. Attached here image of complaint.
