I too ordered a product from STAR CJ which was nowhere near that being shown on TV or on their internet site. Not only was the product tacky but also defective at several places. I immediately placed a request for return of the product.
I was promised that the product would be picked up in 4-5 days and my money refunded in the next 4-5 days. Today its exactly two months from that first call. Neither has STAR CJ picked up the product nor arranged refund. I have lost count of the telephone calls I have made reg. this.
Each time I am promised action in 24-48 hours. I have not received a single telephone call or e-mail in response to my numerable calls or e-mail. Its no use calling their call centers. You get the same standard reply.
When asked to be connected to a senior, they put u on hold for as much as 15 minutes and then say no senior person is free to take your call! Such a callous company. Such a customer unfriendly company.
I am really thinking of filing a case in the consumer court.
