Recently I saw the Star Parivaar Awards. There was nothing special about the show. Mostly the awards were again bagged by the Kekta team for her stupid serials potraying those stupid characters. And of course Kum Kum madam couldnt be left behind. I guess she got the award for the best patni.
The only good thing about the show was the comedy sequence which was staged by the actors of the Khichdi Team. They really made fun of the stupid serials which are going on star plus. They actually said the right thing which most of the viewers also feel i.e. about the dragging of the serials to infinity and the repetitiveness of the same story in all the serials.
And to my surprise the Best Beti Award went to ’’Monica Singh’’ of Saara Akaash. Thankfully , one award went to a sensible serial. At least in that serial there is no unnecessary bakwaas .
And one award went to Supriya Pathak also for her character ’’ Hansa ’’ in the serial Khichdi. She really deserved it because her acting is so good in that serial. This was one serial I used to like on star plus. But unfortunately it is off the air.
God knows till when these stupid saas bahu serials will go on.
But Hats off to the Khichdi Team who atleast made us laugh and made fun of the ongoing stupid serials on Star Plus.
