Since it started in india in 1992 during Cable Revolution Star Plus has jumped leap and bounds beyond expectations.They started with regular English serials which were already hit on American T.V.
Considering the Indian audience failing to understand mostly English serials their popularity began to fade a little bit.A major factor to this also was the introduction of many satellite channels covering only Hindi Programme’s.Star soon came out of this and started many new serials.Including Kaun Banega Crorepati with super star Amitabh Bachchan and many other new serials which were made in Hindi.Star Plus was given a completely new Hindi look.
After K.B.C Star T.V has not looked back and many other channels have tried to copy K.B.C but failed.Even today Star T.V continues to gian popularity with the launch of many new shows.They have understood the peoples need and it has helped them to improve a lot.
