Gajendra Singh who pioneered musical talent hunt show Saregama in Zee has begins his new innings with Star Voice of India. Having the rich experience over a decade, SVOI is promising in its first season itself.

First in Music Reality show is the open auditions. Millions of entries received across were scrutinised and preliminary auditions were conducted across cities to shortlist participants going in for final audition/selection to the contest. The final auditons are held in public. 7 persons from varied background were present as Saat Hindustanis. These represent the mass and give their valuable inputs about the performance of those giving final auditons. I must say these Saat Hindustanis in all the regions where auditions were conducted till now have very good ears and really really do represent public at large.
The singers who have given their auditions are simply superior to any other musical show be it Zee’s Saregamapa Challenge or Sony’s Indian Idol. I must say SVOI has managed to dig out gold from India. Among the shortlisted candidates, we have heard Sanchari Bose of Indore & Mohd. Irfan before.
