''SOMETHING DIFFERENT''

Most of all the reviewers who have had jotted down a review on the Attack Of The Clones have done a splendid job and haven’t left any scope for me to add anything further, and so I am jotting down something different for a man - a movie, with difference.

’’STAR WARS’’, the idea floated by the American President, Mr. Ronald Regan was grabbed by Mr. George Lucas, the producer - director of the Star Wars series.

George Lucas seeked the help of Universal Studios and United Artists respectively, but, to his good luck both of them thought Lucas to be insane and rejected his proposal. At Last, his proposal was accepted by Fox Studios and shooting for the first movie on Star Wars started on March 25, 1976 and was released in 1977 which costed Fox Studios 9.5 million dollars. George Lucas invited his friends and many renowned directors for the show, but, none appreciated his endeavour and that too even his godfather ’Francis Ford Coppola’ didn’t appreciate the idea and told him that its a crazy boy’s idea; it was only Steven Spielberg who had stated that this movie is going to do a business worth 100 million dollars and the first star wars movie did a whopping business of 323 million dollars. After that, George Lucas didn’t have had to look back and kept on churning movies on this idea, The Empire Strikes Back, The Return of Jedi, etc.

Five years back, Forbes Magazine had estimated George Lucas company’s net worth to be 5 billion dollars and his personal assets to be worth 2 billion dollars.

Both, The Phantom Menace and Attack OF The Clones have been shooted and special effects were given in the studio named ’’Skywalker Ranch’’. In many cities of states, the booking for the movie was completed 3-4 months prior to the date of release and that too for whole one month.

Padme Amidala (Natalie Portman) and Anakin Skywalker ( Hayden Christensen)both are lovers since their childhood. Anakin leaves Amidala, when she is 9 and later both of them stays together. Politics in today’s world is everywhere and so you would find it in the relationship of Anakin and Amidala. Initially, Anakin was a lover of democracy, but, later becomes a dictator.

The movie is a pathfinder movie which shows that how one can change the nasty nature of a human being. What fascinate’s me, is the special effects of the movie, for special effects I would give 8 marks out of 10. The movie can be watched at its best in a theatre or multiplex having digital technology.
