I’ve seen all of the movies in the Star Wars series several times, except for this one. Although it seems to me that there wasn’t much else Lucas could’ve done with the storyline, Episode I lacked much of the luster that the other 4 (to date) movies showed.
With Mark Hamill playing Luke in the original series, I found an enjoyable hero character. Many of the characters in this movie are annoying. Obi-wan, Anakin, and Jar Jar Binks were largely a reason to dislike this movie. The pace is slow, and at the end of the movie, it seems that not much has been accomplished. To me, the plot makes the movie.
