# Amongst all the channels I like, I like star world the best...because it’s for ABSOLUTELY EVERYBODY!!...And it gives you just the break u’ve always needed from your hectic schedule. Remember how once Star Plus was once a full fledged english channel...it’s newer and lot better version is what Star World is all about. And the thing that keeps Star world ticking?? All the comedy shows...has been it’s USP.
Of course it’s got a little bit for everybody....ranging from Dramas to News and of course a little bit of music here n there! I’ve been busy about picking up 5 shows that one must watch on Star World, and after much deliberation I have managed to come up with these.....(that also explains y I didn’t write a review for almost two days now!!!)...Here they go.....
1) WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAYS?....This show is hosted by the king of comedy...Drew Carrey! The show is humorous and sometimes so audacious that one can laugh the hell out of yourself! All the actors are outrightly witty and funny! I keep wondering how do they come up with such a performance...EXTEMPORE!!
Aired at:10.30 am on Wednesdays and re-runs plenty of times.
Watch it with entire family!!
2)F.R.I.E.N.D.S: Well what the heck?...do I need to say anything about this show at all? It’s a must watch irrespective of the channel..Currently STar is showing...I am not sure...the third season!!
Aired at:7.30 pm weekdays and keeps being on air for many times a day.
Watch it regardless of anything....
3) MALCOM IN THE MIDDLE: This particular show is about a boy named Malcom and deals with just about everyhting this boy does....The one great thing about it is that it has many children...so it’s a fun to watch their innocence and their mischieves. It’s about Malcom and his three brothers.....his mother who’s never wrong about anything...and his father....Most adorable show I’ve seen in recent times...
Aired at: 7.30 pm on Sundays.
Watch it if you love kids...for u’re kids...n with u’re kids.
Note: Also catch on to Kid’s say the darnest thing at 5pm on sundays if you want to hear how funny kids really are!!
4)The OPRAH WINFREY show: This awars winning talk show hosted by the evry green Oprah Winfrey. The topics talked on range from world peace to single parents to social living conditions to marriages to just about anything u wanted to introspect/retrospect about. Running from more than a decade in USA, the show’s a hit even in India...coz it has so much of universal appeal.
Aired at: 2pm weekdays.
A word of caution: Some of the topics might just not be suitable for the young ones...so watch it with effective parental guidance.
5) REZENDEVOUS WITH SIMMI GAREWAL: Looking for an Indian touch to the channel?...here’s beautiful Simmi having tete-a-tete with the celebrities of India. It’s so different from the intervies or the other talk shows. But I watch it for only one thing...That’s Simmi......she makes all the glamourus people look so simple and ordinary....Just as simple n sweet as she herself is!
Aired at: 8.30 pm on the Sundays.
JUST WATCH IT.
Besides these, there is plenty for watching like Buffy, Ally Macbeal, Everbody loves Raymond, Angels, Fox-kids, Star news Sunday, Bold and the Beautiful, Mutant X and yes BAYWATCH..and so on and on..
I know I might not have come up with the best of the list, but I hope I have helped picking up some good entertainment for all u fellaz!! Go catch Star world for it’s for Absolutely Everybody!!
