A wonderful novel about a girl who is born in a worker class life but has high dreams of getting rich and having a big empire of herself. She has her dreams of getting along with her unseen and imaginary prince and she finally finds him in a man. But while achieving her main goals in life she forgets about the way she is taking which almost risks her life.
The character Lara Camerson is portrayed as a smart girl who starts with money she has in her savings and goes on build her own empire. She faces all the obstacles and problems that has been beautifully described by Sheldon.
A fantastic novel to start with if you haven’t read any of the Sidney Sheldon novels. The book is really fast paced and its climax keeps you glued to it which simply makes it one of Sheldon’s ultimate masterpiece.
