As an NRI, I am with SBI NRI COCHIN Br, for over nine years.I also have accounts with other ’leading’ private bank and other nationalised bank .Ever since the launch of India Millennium bond by SBI [incidentally one of the best forward looking programmes initiated most successfully by the then BJP govt.]I had to deal with this bank on regular basis.
The staff members are very courteous, smiling, go that extra mile to help you, everytime you have any problem.For few years, prior to netbanking every month and whenever needed , I just call the manager to issue cash from my account to my wife.They inform her to come and collect cash as instructed by me without any hassles and all with a smile.With the advent of netbanking, SBI as all of you know, offers almost all services as any international bank offers.
BUT with very reasonable charges.There may be some problems or issues of concern that happened in other branches of SBI in its vast network in India or abroad, but to err is human and to forgive is divine. Among the present day cutthroat ’new generation’banks and greedy foreign banks SBI STANDS APART AND IS SHINING LIKE STAR!
