Beware as it could happen to you. As I failed to collect cash in 10-15 seconds the cash went back into ATM and it printed a receipt of normal withdrawal. Beware other banks may also be cheating you. On contacting Mulund Branch Manager he directed me to my hometown Ambarnath where the concerned person was not helpful. I don’t think I will get my cash back.
Always check your ATM transactions and keep the receipts till the Pass Book is clearly updated. And going by my experiences of Indian Honesty I am sure that other banks are also cheating customers.
Clearly a case of Fraud by SBI and I will take them to consumer court for this. Read the rest of the story in the newspapers.
