If you are thinking to have a new bank account in state bank of india, I will say stay out of it. it took about 6-8 month to get just passbook, to be frank I didnt ever use phone banking service, but if you have opted out for internet banking then its good, you hardly need to visit any sbi branch, you will never find printers in this bank working.
Internet banking option is good, As for ATM, we have atms everywhere, customer service very bad if you visit any sbi branches
