State bank of india is one of the leading govt banks but I had a very poor experience.
When I went there for opening an account, they took more than a month’s time to open an account and give me my debit card.
And when I got my debit card then it came out a rupay card. I was then unable to do any online transaction with this card. When I went to bank asking to change the card they said its not their fault, if I have to change my card I have to give application and it would charge me 250 rs.
I said there was no option for what type of card you want on application form then they said CARDS ARE ISSUED ON THE BASIS OF DAY i.e. it will issue on the basis of on which day you have applied.
Be careful while applying for a debit card.
