Though I already had an account with Syndicate Bank, I opened a saving bank account with SBI Bund Garden Road branch three years ago in order to receive my salary without delay. However, the service of this bank is so good and progressively improving.
Some of the reasons I like this bank:
I can deposit and withdraw money by swiping my card and don’t have to fill in deposit or withdrawal slips.
I can deposit money using the automatic cash deposit machine even when the bank is closed.
I can use the online banking facility to create fixed deposit accounts.
I can update my bankbook using the machine.
Most of these facilities are not available at Syndicate bank so I use the SBI account and hardly use Syndicate bank nowadays.
On the downside, some of the bank staff, especially the new recruits, are not as helpful and courteous as they could be.
