I have an savings account on this particular bank from last 3 years and from these 3 years the rules and regulations changed very much, not in an positive manner but in negative manner. In the earlier days the minimum amount that is supposed to maintain is 500rs - 1000rs whereas now the minimum amount that is supposed to maintain is 5000rs in many cities which is the worst rule change of SBI. They are making their profits my depositing huge sum of money from the poor people and later given as loan with high interest rates which can sometimes not affordable to pay back. As a government national Bank you need to understand the problems of poor people who came here to open a bank account for their financial needs. But SBI always looking for their own profits rather than people’s problem. Also the banking services were pathetic, I applied for netbanking and visited the bank for about 10 times but after 1 month also they didn’t provide me the netbanking facility like wise when I applied for my visa atm card they send my card after 2 months which the worst service I ever seen in my banking life. When we visited the bank for cash deposit we need to wait for about 2-3 long hours because of the slow working of bank employees and lack of digital services. Also I would tell you one truth about SBI atm services in India. I visited more than 10+ cities and found the same problem in every city. We find an SBI atm very easily but when we visit the atm their always NO CASH or the atm is OUT OF ORDER. Almost same situation in all cities SBI ATMs. Services like phone banking, netbanking were pathetic and non of the service works. Also the customer support team is non responsive and rude to handle customers. As per my banking experience with this particular bank I will not recommend this to anyone if you want to open an account with the good bank.
