State bank of India is comes in top 10 PSU's banks in india, but does it realy Deserve to hold this position let check out. Iam Sharing my/my friends experience on sbi.
1st Staff who handle customers are totally untrained, their behaviour over customer is very poor 1 simple example I was at one sbi branch to cash deposit and mistakenly not bring pen with me I asked pen from staff they replied me "nahi hain pe ghar se lao"I can see clearly that 2 pens kept on desk. Othe example I went to a sbi branch for personal loan and ask details from spoc they told me to wait and I wait for 30 mins and go to him he now told me he is not right person and told me to go to other desk. Same thing reapeated to next 2 desk, after that last one told me to go and meet to bank manager. I reached to bank manager, he told me wait to again 20 mins and guess what is told me after that he told me "kisi aur bank se loan lelo yaha dikkat hogi aur loan nahi milega kyuki aapka yaha saving account hain salary account nahi"for this statement I waited for 2 hours? .
One more incident will clear you how sbi staff work.
Around 1 year back I was charged for around 150/- rs for not maintaining minimum balanace that is 3000Rs but guess what that time I hold more than 5 times of min balance and when I complaint at branch they told me"hamey nahi pata ye system se hota hain toll free number par complaint karo"
