State bank of india is although a largest public sector bank but now a days Sbi has introduced many nonsence type penalities. Like penality on minimum balance.
Sbi has best mobile banking, internet banking and largest nuber of ATMs. Its internet banking website is very easy and well designed.
Most of officers in Sbi branch are very rude and unhelpful. In my local branch most of small works like passbook printing, form distribution are done by peons which cause lots of delay.
They think customers are only just a headach.
Charges and fine on maintaining minimum balance is worst policy I have ever noticed in any banks. The most of peoples who are unable to maintain minimum balance are poor. They are already struggling for their daily needs. So directly only these people are exploited by the Bank and there is no effects on rich people. This policy should be stopped immidiately by Bank and Government because it is totally against the poors acvount holders.
