I performed an SBI Internet Banking transaction to pay my electricity bill. My account was debited the next day. I also got the SMS for this transaction with a transaction reference number. But the amount never got paid to the electricity board office. When I call the help desk for refund, they blatantly told me there was no transaction for that date. I dont know how is that possible! I told the help desk agent to note down my transaction reference number, but he said he was unable to help.
Then I talked to my branch manager. He outright told me, these issues cant be handled from the branch and then redirected me to the same helpdesk. Its like a vicious cycle! And now Ive no clue whom to contact????????
