State Bank of India is one of the worst bank in India to deal with. I have an account since 1996 that is 20 year old account which state bank of India. For past 3 years I have been struggling to get the ID and password for my Internet banking.
I had been to the bank where I have open another account to get the ID and password. They told me that ID and password are already sent and cannot be given once more. True fact is ID and password was misplaced by them and what never sent it to me. In the bank they keep underlying the subject by saying come another day. When I shouted on them they give me my ID then ask me to to click on forgot password link of sbi to get the new password by providing the desired credentials. I tried doing the same but it do not allowed me to reset the password.
What are getting irritated I called the customer care of SBI which is reachable only on late night timings as they are line is busy in daytime. They told me you need to login with the given password to reset the password. When I told them I’ll never get a password that provide back to me to the bank for where I have the account.
Unfortunately it’s such a bad bank that you need to go to the bank where you have opened the account and other bank will not at all help you. The bank is in Orissa send thousands loan from my working place so I cannot go there are present when I want. Even though I read this concern to customer care they didn’t listen to me at all. Finally they closed my ticket after 2 days by saying that go to the bank and collect your password.
It’s already been 2 years I am struggling to get the password for Internet banking but none of them are helping me at any cost. Withdrawing money also from ATM more than 3 times does attract significant amount of extra charges so I cannot withdraw the money that my own wish.
I just want to close my bank account after withdrawing all my money from the bank and encourage all of you not to open your account in State Bank of India at any cost.
