Bank employee's very disappointing behaviour

I am having my saving account in State Bank Of India, Alipore branch, Kolkata since 2009. It is a multinational bank having a lot of user friendly services. In April 2013 I have done transaction from DUBAI, it was a nice experience. Phone banking, Internet banking, SBI e-corner all technical services provided by State Bank Of India is very good. But, the only thing that ruin the name of this bank is the very bad and user unfriendly behaviour of it’s employee. Most of them are having very negative attitude. I have a lot of stories when I got disappointment. I am sharing here one of them. In January 2012 I visited my home branch for activating internet banking. I got the form for the same and filled it. When I submitted the form, the person who was sitting on the counter, a bengali man, told me you have to submit your local address proof like passport, voter ID, D.L etc for activating internet service. Then, I told him I have only one local address proof, my college ID that I have already submitted at the time of account opening. He replied it is not enough. Then I asked him for any other document which is eligible for that. He gave me a paper on which name of documents were written. One of them was ’bank account statement’. But, when I submitted my ’education loan account statement’ of the same branch, he again said the same thing this is not eligible because your loan account is also having only one address proof, your college ID. It was very disappointing. I asked him, if this document is not eligible then how your bank administration passed an education loan of 9 lacks rupees. He replied don’t waste my time. I will never recommend anyone.
