Very bad customer service.
Sbi is the largest indian bank with the maximum people. One reason for its popularity is that it is a government bank and people trust it.
but yesterday I went to the bank to open a new account and she kept me waiting for 20 minutes as she was giggling and busy talking to her relatives in peak office hours.
this shows the pathetic condition of government employees in india which is holding india back.
well I even went 1 month ago to open the account then she replied that PAN card is compulsory to open an account and other people in the bank told me that it can be opened by aadhar card also, so this shows that they are not concerned about the people.
I went 1 week ago too, she was on a leave, so just opening a small account has become a nightmare.
So, if customer service is something you need, go for other private banks because they cannot afford to loose there customers .
govt. should take some strict measures and some kind of complaint redressal.
