SBI, well known recognized bank with very good advertising. Very innovative, emotional advertisement. But credit goes to agency not to bank.
But by just changing cover of book you can not change the content, content mean people, process, system is same. They might be improving slowly but this growth is still pathetic.
I have been using SBI credit card since more than a year and primarily was using for irctc online ticket booking. SBI always run promotion of 7-10% cash back offer most of the time. Ive booked approximately 30-40 tickets using SBI card, but I think I have not got cash back on more than 3-5 tickets, where is rest of the cash back amount only SBI knows.
If you want to know anything about your card, you will be welcomed by IVR system and after telling you all the process it will ask you for a estimated time which might be somewhere 2-25 minutes. And make sure if you want to wait for that time, you will have to wait not less than double time whatever has been told by the system. And since I do not have MTNL/BSNL number to call on their toll free number, my last choice is to call from my mobile and have pay call charges according to my service provider(Hutch), and if&there is high probability of your call get disconnected during waiting period due to network problem or IVR system problem .
So, after having relationship with SBI card finally I discontinued with the card and have forgotten my cash back amount and request to cancel my card. So, in my opinion if anybody uses SBI for online ticket booking as I used to do, please do not expect calculated cash back, because you can not rely on this Banks system.
