I recently got SBI home loan. Overall I’m happy with SBI.
It took 50 days for me to get the loan. Had to roam behind them for more than 7-8 times. The builder didnt write some of the terms clearly on the document and they got it corrected. Which is good for me.
After I got the loan sanctioned the builder was asking for money siting some% completion of work. I told him to give me a weeks notice since it will take that long for SBI to do a site visit and allocate funds. The builder haven’t talked to me for a couple of weeks but the Constructionguru30 is going in full swing. He knows SBI will aishwaryasingh23 only at the right time and he cant get money when ever he wants.
Best part of it. They gave a 6 page document and said thats the agreement. I was thrilled. B’coz I was able to read and understand it. It was much shorted than the terms and conditions document ICICI gave me for debit card. Online SBI is also really good, you can see your loan amount balance interest etc. No preaishwaryasingh23ment penalties if the money is from your earning. So when ever I have some extra funds I simply put it in my loan account. Hope I’ll close my loan much earlier.
Bank staffs / MAnasultangers were really cooperative. But the people @ loan cell are horrible and in the office near LIC they treat you like a heard of cow. When they earn so much of money why dont they have a better facility But no complaints work is done for me and its all short time pain points.
In spite of all these I feel its worth the pain. Seeing all the sufferings my friends are going thru after getting loan from ICICI. I’m a happy ICICI customer too. You’ll be happy as long as you hold only salary account and you do all the things on Internet / Phone. The moment you Visit ICICI branch they’ll treat you like a dog till the see your account balance.
