I’ve been wanting to write about Sterling Resorts Kodai Lakeview ever since I got back from there, but was not able to find the right platform. I guess I got it now, and here flows all my pent-up anger and frustration. My wife and I were planning this holiday for a long time, and I fell for Sterling looking at their website. But the only thing attractive about Sterling is their web portal! I am not sure about the other resorts of Sterling, but the folks at this resort are ninjas at converting a perfect, cheerful, relaxed, polite holidayer into an angry, irritated, frustrated wreck! Time has no meaning when you’re here, they say.
It’s a good thing for a relaxed holiday resort, I thought. But what they meant was that if you order breakfast at 8:00 AM, they will deliver it to your room at 12:00 noon! The room service folks are so used to getting blasted by guests that they have turned themselves into zombies, and any amount of shouting that you throw at them will be replied only by an expressionless nod. The house keeping service is no better. The rooms are badly maintained, and the less I write about the toilets, the better!
Overall, we got back from there thoroughly disillusioned, and vowing never to go back to that place again!
