I dont mind when things occasionally dont meet their design or quality expectations however when this happens I expect the vendor to stand up and take responsibility.
This happened to me twice recently - 1) Converse - I send them a picture, answered a few questions and they sent me a code to get any replacement pair from their website. 2) Steve Madden. Same deal however after TWO MONTHS AND OVER 20 EMAILS Ive been given the run around from the store to the head office and no one wants to take responsibility aside from giving me a discount of 30% on new pair at full price!
The shoes were over$100 new and lasted around 4 months before the sole started separating from the heel and they started to allow water in as a result.
Ive NEVER had such a poor experience with a vendor and regrettably will not purchase additional again.
info@XXXXXmaddendirect.com are a complete waste of time and either dont care or are not empowered to resolve any issues.
I had continued to purchase Steve Madden Shoes whilst this issue was sorted out however Im going to stop this effective immediately, absolutely awful.
