An eye opener about the entertainment industry

When I read a sidney sheldon book, it’s because I like the way he thinks and writes. One can almost feel the story come alive in virtually any sheldon book(yes, even <sigh> Pavid Pavillion).this story revolves particularly around 2 charecters, Toby and Jane.(or was her name Jennifer, darn my dumb memory).Anyway, both come from small town backgrounds and try to get into hollywood.Toby tries to get work as a comedian and Jane as an actress. The sacrafice Jane has to make is her own body and self respect and that’s just to get small roles.Sydney Sheldon brings out Jane’s charecter very well.Jane is more like an abused victim o society, even though she is the villan in this book, .....well, sort of a villan.
