Hello guys, let’s get straight into the review and firstly, I would like to inform you that it is a fiction based story and only 10 percent of the movie story was inspired by real incidents. So, basically plot of the story is -
Every year in the village, a pooja takes place for four days and during that four days there is an spirit of a woman roaming around the village during the span of those four days in that festive season and the spirit takes the men in the village with them leaving thier clothes. And that spirit is of a woman who just got married with a man which she loved and that man was the only one in village who had loved that woman with his heart. So, basically that woman did not got that kind of resprect and love from villagers and villagers buried them alive, both the man and the woman. So the spirit of that woman named stree had haunted that village and was in search of his true love which she did not got in his real life.
Villagers had to get rid of that spirit and the whole story is based on that comedy horror drama.
So, plot of the story is good but was purely fictious.
Talking about the songs, songs were decent enough and songs have good lyrics and are set according to the movie.
Main lead cast was - Shraddha Kapoor ( stree) Rajkumar Rao ( Vicky ) Aparshakti Khurana ( Bittu) Abhishek banerjee ( janna)
All of them performed well, Rajkumar Rao ( Ricky) performed very well with his supporting cast. And Shraddha kapoor as always nailed it.
Overall, the movie deserves your hard earned money and its worth it. A package of horror, comedy and drama. Also, movie has got some fantastic ratings on various publishing sites.
