Stuart Little One was a movie which dampened your eyes, just as it made you laugh. The second part of the movie is sequel where Stuart has started living comfortably in his lovely and rather exciting house. His elevator, stairs, and especially, his lovely car.. they all astound you.
Now, Stuart lives with his parents, his brother and now.. he has a baby sister too!! And yes, Snowbell, the cat.
The film has several moments which keep you surprised, it starts with Stuart breaking his brothers plane... then Stuart at a football match...
And the day dawns. Stuart is on his way to his school when a bird, Marglow falls into his car. He gives shelter to this bird, Marglow and Stuart become very good friends.
And it all breaks when Marglow goes away. Stuart sets on a mission to bring Marglow back.
Marglow is actually a partner of a thief hawk!!
So, though the story is somewhat childish, it really keeps you bound.
So, does Stuart find Marglow??
Does he come to know of the truth???
Does hawk continue to dominate MArglow???
The first half could have been better... as I could not laugh at the jokes... but at the same time, I could see kids around me laughing with their sides splitting.
The second half is extremely beautifully put up. Beautiful falls short to describe the second half. The sequences of the hawk following Stuart, Snowbell being trapped inside a tin on the top of a skyscraper, and Stuart taking off in the plane much to the audiences surprise are extremely well done...
~~~The STRENGTHS~~~
Amazing performances by all the actors.
The hawk looks sooooooo real, that I was just shocked to see it....!!
The camera effects as expected, are brilliant. The camera moving up and down when Stuart buzzes off in the plane take away your breath for a moment.
Stuart has been beautifully animated....
The dialogues and the storyline form the base of the film which is undoubtedly, very strong...!!!
Several scenes, especially, Stuart going down the sewage pipe of the sink is just too much.
The use of Celine Dions I am alive blends beautifully with the scene.
~~~The WEAKNESSES~~~~
Marglow seems to be very untrue.. I mean, you cannot believe or think that Marglow we are looking at, should be someone who existed.
Some scenes are really childish.. the five year kid was laughing so loudly, when I had a sick feeling on my face..!! lol
That s it!!
So, I wud recommend this movie, .... u can watch it once-twice-thrice.. just as I have watched it 4 times.... a good and refreshing movie!!
