Stumped

It’s a film which described the feelings of Indian people towards World cup and in the other hand it tells us about the War.

Stumped is a film consisting of loads of characters:

Character name – real name

Deshpande - Viju Khote

Khetrapal - Anjan shrivastav

Laltoo Singh – Amrit pal

Major Rhagav – Aly khan

Reena – Raveena tondon

There are loads of cricketers who have been shown in this film.

The story line of the movie is bit sort of ok but goes on as the story is of year 1999 when Indian cricket team had played against England in World cup and at the same time there were soldiers of India on a kargil war.

The film had a simple story line which went on and on. The story was basically on one colony which had different religion people staying in it at the same time, some liked cricket and some hated it, Reena was the only lady shown to be a Majors wife

The film had some points which I didn’t get at all:

• Due to loads of characters, half of the film was bugging and boring.

• The music was good but the characters made it useless specially halu halu chal song.

• The media people were shown as if they are always up to searching for some masala.

• Then coming up to Reena neighbours don’t know what happens to them listening that her husband is dead, no one likes to see Reena anymore which doesn’t make any sense.

The things which I had liked in the film were:-

• War scenes were fab actually looked like something was happening.

• The teenagers were somewhat ok but were shown reacting more than they should have

• Raveena’s acting was really good

I think everyone should have a go watch this film but at the end u’ll smile and say Oh!!!! Thank god the guy was saved.

Only thing I can say don’t expect wonders from it, its really simple and short movie.
