We are the unfortunate people who purchased su-kam "brainy solar inverter" on 2nd june 2012 on seeing the lovely ad in paper boasting so many features. After numerous calls - we were able to get our brainy solar inverter installed on 2nd june (with just the wire put in the charging socket - no solar panel because of ego hassle of service manager, mr. Datta, a very rude person)
Well after a few hours ( exactly 3 hours) there was a fowl smell from the brainy solar inverter so we switched off the charging - mind you, under no load & without being used for even 1 second. On Monday morning, finally, the installation engineer came with all material & immediately declared that the brainy solar inverter has burned off. We informed the dealer who was very prompt & courteous to send another piece within 2 hours & on its installation, it too burned off within 10 seconds, so now the engineer & the dealer passed it on to the company who started their r&d operations both in their office & at our house & instead of giving a new replacement, gave us the repaired brainy solar inverter & installed & left, without even bothering to check if it is working or not.
We tried to contact people about not working of solar charging/ fluctuation in output & battery not maintaining charge, even registered a complaint vide no. 13061070620 but no one bothered to show up, we tried to escalate the issue & were promised action by 6 pm on 20th June but nothing has happened till date.
The only option now is to file a case in consumer court for providing a faulty designed product & experimenting at customer end & removing the plaster/paint of the house by making holes on 2 floors of walls, etc which had just been repainted at a cost of rs 2 lakh+. & getting our electrical products repaired due to bad output from inverter & not providing any service although officially the brainy solar inverter is under 5 yrs warranty.
