I just bought an 800VA pure sign wave inverter. Well I been using it for some days and find the UPS quite impressive.
UPS does look quite different than the picture as supplied on the web site. However it quite compact to be placed over a corner.
Overall the UPS is quite effective and the switch over time and backup is quite good. I have tried using even a room cooler on it and it works quite good with that……
i tried using my comp on it and would disagree with some of the reviews written before as it does support a comp quite beautifully and does not reboot the comp.
I have a 800MA UPS with Exide battery and tested it on a long power cut for about 8 hrs and it does support a tv for 3 hrs, lights, 2 fans and a cooler (intermittent use) during that time. However during this time the UPS did conk off and did take long time to recharge afterwards.
However, I guess it is a useful UPS for home use with somewhat light load and there isn’t much to fiddle around for setting or configuration. Response time and initializing is quite flawless and the fact that there is no electricity in the house cannot be made out unless u look at the UPS LCD screen.
