I bought a Su-kam inverter 2 years ago. It worked well but when I was not around, the battery died down. Out of warranty so had to buy a new one in Oct 2010. Now that has gone out too. Got a complaint raised through my dealer(Opel Electronics, Pune - vide no. 1206582559) but it has all been a horror since then. My complaint is more than 2 weeks old and no one from Su-kam has bothered to call on me. When I raised with Opel, they say that they have been following up but the local Su-kam contact apparently is very busy! Opel also cited that they too were fed up with one complaint being open with Su-kam for over a month!
BS! What kind of customer service is this? I have a small kid and whenever the light goes, she gets very restless. I told this to a Su-kam engineer who said that I should talk to his superior. The superior(one Shrejeet) seems like hes least bothered. Shame on the company which I thought was a good choice. Not any more. Dont know who the local contact in Pune for Su-kam is but if the sales in Pune are going down, you know who to blame.
Third grade customer service - the tag line "Ek nayi soch" should really be "Ek nayi complaint". I saw that there is a company review and the "employees" have given good reviews. Well, in that case you better be an employee - never a customer!
