After engineering, many of us feel frustrated when we think about GRE. Few of the luckier guys and girls would have started preparations long ago. But that was not my style. I wanted to climb the Kangenjunga first then Everest.
There was pressure form family and friends to clear GRE. Now I want to share the fall, rise, fall and rise in my GRE preparations.
Fall: I went to a GRE coaching class and it was horrible! The reason, they have two types of teachers: One, retired and the other fresh. Both couldnt do justise. My time spent in traffic jams and smoking carbon monoxide was the only result.
Rise: I went and bought few GRE preparation books and CDs. Uselss. You cant sit even half an hour in fornt of them. So boring. If you buy five products, all five will give you the same questions and same answers! But it was far better than attending classes. I saved time, I saved money. I lived a less risky life.
Fall: These CDs and books were too boring. I couldnt sit more time in front of them. I thought it was better to run away to a village and do agriculture than preparing for GRE. It was so boring. As a cricket and movie fan I spent more time in front of cable TV.
Rise Again: One of my close friend who is doing M.Tech in Chennai IIT recommended a solution, which is extremely popular there. The study material called Smarten Your English through Cricket and Smarten Your English through Movies. He is aware of my interest in cricket and movies.
These products are from a company called Espoir and widely used in the skill-building industy. The innovative feature is that it builds skills through your passionate topics - you wont get bored, or tired and the learning will stick to your mind for long time.
I got excited to find that basic to GRE level of English and personality development tips are provided through the topics of Cricket alone! 700 hours of study material through cricket! And through movies!
Other products they have is smarten Your English through Success Secrets and Smarten Your English through Kama Sutra.
Value for money. Exclusive and copyighted content. I strongly recommend these products to everybody.
