Get a test date and go for it full-time!

GRE is an exam for which one can never be too ’’well-prepared’’.I would suggest that you first apply for a test date and then give in 2 months of serious full-time study to it!Having a friend to prepare with helps too.Get the latest GRE bulletin and go through the test sections in detail.Join an institute which provides mock CBT’s & take a mock test every week to know your progress.

The 1st week mock test will help you to know which sections u need to put more efforts on.For the Verbal Section-Learn 30-50 new words daily and list difficult words and their synonyms in a notebook and go through that list every night before bed time.Carry a dictionary with you 24-7-you can pick a page and learn new words anytime, anywhere.Ask a friend to test you on random words every day.Use new words in daily conversations-that helps you to remember them for long.Work on all available material(ETS, Princeton, Kaplan etc).Write an essay everyday on daily issues & ask a qualified person to check it for u.

For the quantitative section-go back to your mathematics fundamentals of class 6 through class 10 and solve as many papers as possible.Prepare topic-wise every week. For example:algebra one week and geometry the next and so on.

Most importantly- one tends to get frustrated working on any one topic continuously, so make sure you shift focus when tired or bored!Making it interesting is the best way to make the preparation easy! All the best-its not as hard as it seems!
