This is not about successful preparation for IIT JEE. I am 63 and I want to make known to the youngsters who are very very good maths at XII level about Chennai Mathematical Inst ( http://www.cmi.ac.in) which conducts a tougher entrance and choose <20 in all india level. This small inst has better scientists than IIT. It conducts BSc MSc PhD in Maths Physics and Computer Sc.
Last year three boys represented India in the olympiad for Information Technology . Two from CMI and one from IIT. India got two bronze medals and both from CMI ! This year one boy who got admission both in IIT and BSc Maths at CMI chose CMI !
Also I request youngsters to read a book on ’’How to solve it’’ by George Polya.
A small test: A car does Mumbai to Pune @ 80 kmph and Pune to mumbai @ 120 kmph . What is the average speed? If your answer is not 96kmph you should definitely read ’’How to solve it’’! ( this qn is in the sequel to ’’How to solve it’’)
