Aspiring to bell the CAT! It’s not late.........you can crack CAT even if you start now.......I cleared CAT in 2006 and wish to give you some guidelines to follow to get through it
1) Try to handle time pressure. To do this practice past papers keeping in mind time constraint.
2) Develop your vocabulary............learn 10 new words everyday from the lexicon.
3) Brush up 10th, 12th standard maths.
4) For enhancing your skill in maths consult "Puzzles" by Shakuntala Devi.
5) Read news papers like Economic Times, Financial Express to remain updated. This will pay during GD’s.
6) Ensure that you reach your peak performance at the time of the exam.
7)Practice topics e.g. "Kolkata is copying Bangalore", "capital punishment should be banned", "media hype", "India can never make an iPod", "Indian consumers are price obsessed" etc. for GD and PI.
8) For comprehension, speed up reading pace.
9) Practice Vedic maths and number system well.
10) Study materials of Erudite and IMS are of high standard. You can follow them.
