Recently I had requested for some stuff ( 90 Kgs in two packets) to be shipped from Kolkata to Siliguri from Sugam Parivahan. The consignment was shipped on 26 July with the number 341195900 ( You can go online and check in the sugam parivahan website) .
Today after 14 days and after 20 phone calls to Sugam Parivahan Siliguri, Kolkata and their non functional Helpline number, I had to resort to mouth-shut to air my grievance and harassment by this cargo service. Till date this shipment has not left the cargo office of Kolkata.
I have already made one visit to Siliguri Sugam Parivahan Office and was assured that it would be shipped next week. It did not happen and now they do not even receive my phone calls.
If you are a customer planning to take the service of this cargo company.. my suggestion is BEWARE..
DO NOT BE HARASSED AND FOOLED LIKE ME. ELSE YOU WILL END UP RUNNING FROM PILLAR TO POST. I have booked my tickets and now making a personal visit to Kolkata to ensure the safety and transportation of my stock.
