I have bought Suguna chicken several times and it’s slightly costlier than the other shops. Till date I don’t know the reason why it’s costlier than normal shops. Is it because of a brand name? If yes, I just want to clarify that there is no speciality about this brand whatsoever. I don’t find any difference between chicken bought in normal shops and in Suguna. But the price is always ₹; 10 - ₹; 15 higher than other normal shops. They don’t do anything special to the chicken nor is their chicken quality higher than others. I have heard complaints about the quality of chicken from some people but I have not faced any problem in the quality of chicken given. The only confusion I have is why the price is higher, that’s all. Also, I have heard people complain about the eggs sold there. But since I have never bought eggs here, I can’t comment about that.
