This is one of the evening shows on Star Plus. It airs after Mere Angne Mein. It is a typical hindi serial where the house itself is depicted as the battle ground. Basically the story is of a girl named Suhani, who is married to a guy whose GrandMother hates her. the reason why she hates Suhani is because of her skin color, apparently being dusky is treated as a flaw/crime in that woman’s eyes.
I’m sure there are many people like her, who judge others on the basis of their skin color, so that bit isn’t too far-fetched. But the fact that episode after episode nothing has changed. In spite of Suhani’s good character, Dadi still continues to hate her. It seems a bit unreal. the other characters in the story aren’t strong enough to take a stand in front of Dadi. So to tell you the crux of it, Dadi is the bad guy, always doing something wrong and Suhani is the good one. the villain in the story is Dadi and the hero is Suhani. The actors in main lead are Sahil Mehta, Rajshri Pandey and few more. The actors are all right, they can’t do much, because the plot is boring and hasn’t changed even a bit.
This show started as an average show and now I believe it is one of the poor shows on television with no entertainment to offer to its viewers.
