Charismatic book with a superb review

There might be many books written on banking industries but this is something different I guarantee as it showcase about the frauds in the current era and how a loyal employee wants to expose the fraudsters’ employees of his organization and his journey towards it….

ABOUT THE AUTHOR**……. As far as author is concerned, the author himself has an experience of I guess a decade of working in banking industry. As this being his first novel, a great appreciation for bringing out such a wonderful story in such a wonderful manner.

About the storyline**….…This is a story of a banker who is a normal guy and strongly believes in the motto of “Turning conventional wisdom upside down*”. The story revolves around in the era when the private sector banks have recently stepped into the market of “loan against commodities in rural areas”. How the banks started relying completely upon the outsourced agencies to get their businesses done with their monthly targets and profits shooting up the sky. Because of these all how the organization lands into frauds and non-compliance issues and ends up closing the product of commodity finance. The story goes around a young employee named ‘Sumit’ who heads the risk monitoring subdivision who foresee the frauds coming through but can’t do anything initially as he later discover that his the top officials are also involved. But he finally decides to expose these frauds at the cost of risking his job and how he does it you need to read this book……….

About the book**: As this being the first book of Mr. Puneet Gupta it consists of only 279 pages with a very simple English language written, it does not consists of complex words which any layman can read and understand. I have finished this in just five days. As Mr. Puneet Gupta himself have a incredible experience in the same sector that may be reason he had bought the story so neatly and clean. The cover page is also very awesome which depicts a man running to save his life in a competitive and a wicked market where frauds also go hand in hand.

What I like…….*

1. I liked the story line which flows so smoothly that I could feel the characters and the story revolving around me.

2. The characters especially Sumit, Annie, Venkat are so nicely portrayed, the love and hatred between the characters can be felt which also makes you believe the same.

3. As a reader I was very satisfied reading this “it’s a pAISA vASOOL*” book.

Dislikes*

1. I wish the writer could have written more about the characters Annie, Alex and Sumit family I guess who were lost somewhere at the end.

2. More examples of fraud could have been more interesting but even with the given ones the story holds up a good.

LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST*

With all the above comments on the book my thumb goes up for this one. A must read for all working in corporate organizations. People can easily relate themselves with these characters and the happenings of the events. I wish after reading this every loyal employee will know the ways of tackling frauds when your senior officials are involved.
