Hi All, I am here to write about Sujata Restaurant which is one of my favourite restaurants. It is located in the heart of Dadar(west) near Shivaji Park , 1 signal after Shiv Sena Bhavan, off Ranade Road. I grew up in this area and have been a regular at Sujata. Over the years, the hotel has adapted very well with the changing times. I’m actually surprised not to find its name in the restaurant list for Dadar(West). The restaurant started out as a South Indian restaurant and then grew to serve all kinds of food. The Sujata Restaurant Serves Fast Food, South Indian and Punjabi Food is open all day where as the Sujata Annexe serves Chinese and Punjabi and is a separate restaurant with bar open in the late evening only. The popular dishes are Idli/Wada Sambhar, All types of Dosas, Paneer Makhanwala & Butter Rotis. They also have morning specials! The ambience of both restaurant is pleasent and inviting. Mornings are very calm where as rush hours are crowded with people having to wait outside. But the management is prompt in getting all the people accommodated quickly. The restaurant is visited by people from all walks of life, students, professionals, granny’s , grandpa’s , VIP’s alike. The waiters of the hotel are very accommodating and good natured. Parking may be a problem as the hotel is located on main road junction. So are you all drooling already!. Come and savor some hot steamy idli’s and dosas or bring your family and spend a nice dinner with great food. Last but not the least. This good food not at all heavy on the pockets.
