To all those people who believe, that they can sell/buy or Rent their property on Sulekha website, I have some real bad news.
I had recently posted my ad - 2 Bedroom apartment for Rent in Bangalore via Sulekha under Premium Ad category by paying Rs 800. Ad ID: 2750795
It has been over 3 weeks, and I did not get a single genuine connect for my ad posted. I wrote to their customer care on email, about not getting enough hits or references, and all that they kept saying back to me - Sir, keep refreshing your page, so that your ad remains on top. But, let me ask them back, isn’t that supposed to happen automatically when you pay a premium amount for my ad? It isn’t a free ad, that I have posted, isn’t this your responsibility to ensure, my ad stands out among the rest? They came out with a most dumbest answer I have ever heard.
Sir, maybe your house location is not in a good area or your rent quoted is too high. Please reduce it and you will get many responses!? My house is located in C V Raman Nagar, close to Bagmane Tech park, one of the most sought after location and the rent quoted for a 2 BHK with car park was 18K. These guys are asking me to cut down on my quote. The only place where I could have saved some money, is not posting on Sulekha. That’s the one biggest mistake I ever made. I asked for refund since, over 3 weeks I had received only 15 enquiries and when I call the numbers listed, its either faulty, ringing or not reachable. The email address too went bouncing. It only goes to show, cheap people only do business with Sulekha and not the serious or genuine ones.
I will NEVER recommend Sulekha to anyone. I had placed my ad on a different site for Free and it is now Rented. I want to write it here and send the link to the concerned in Sulekha to read about this and correct themselves. I will also not remove the content from here unless I get refund of my money that was paid for Premium Ad for nothing. Thanks for reading this.
