Twice lucky, bad deal third time.

Purchased a Nikon L26 via order ID SUL6650515470 The camera lens jammed within minutes of turning on. The display is frozen with ’Lens Error’ being the only information. When asked for a refund, I am told to get a DOA certificate from the solitary service centre in Mumbai. SC is ready to repair but not ready to provide this certificate. In the meantime, I had a call from Sulekha on last Friday that they would arrange pickup of the defective product which never happened. In the tussle between Sulekha and Nikon SC, I am stuck with a defective product. I conferenced both of them at my cost and the first agent from Sulekha disconnected the call. The second agent identified as Kannan did nothing to resolve the issue.


The invoice was not included in the shipment. It was sent separately. The vendor has a Hyderabad address and a Bangalore number! The invoice is not signed/stamped. Best part is even if Nikon SC provides the certificate, the refund will take atleast 10-15 days as per Mr. Kannan. Under the guise of cheap deals, a fraud is being perpetrated on the buyers. I was initially surprised at the negative reviews, since my first couple of deals were quite good. I guess the law of average finally caught up. I will update this review once I visit the Nikon SC. Original review: I have purchased twice from Sulekha and got my items on the 4th day after payment. Items were packed nicely and delivered via BlueDart. SUL6650565452 - Casio watch - Ordered on 27 Aug - Received on 30 Aug SUL4852686649 - Nokia Phone - Ordered on 29 Feb - Received on 3 March - Warranty card missing Both these deals were quite nice and I got the best price compared to any site or the market. But the warranty card was missing in the phone and both these orders do not reflect in my account.


Overall, I am quite happy with the deals and it would have been a 5* rating if the above 2 issues would not have occurred.
