Sultan is a modern day movie with feudal era mindset where the female protagonist(Anushka Dharma) gives up everything for her husband and her family after marriage teaching women to follow suit as if women belong indoors and shouldn’t be wrestling on field. It’s also a movie where the male protagonist(Salman Khan) teases her and stalks her until she says yes to him and marries him this provoking the young generation of boys to do the same to other women.
Sultan has a philosophical thought behind it but it ignores the basic necessity of today’s India that is to change it’s outlook towards women.
