Sultan is a story of a man’s extraordinary journey. A wannabe wrestler who falls in love with a successful female wrestler, played by the vivacious Anushka Sharma, works day and night to improve in wrestling, to be able to win her heart. He is able to win her heart and also the championships. But in the process of becoming a world-famous wrestler, he forgets about his family at the time when they need him the most.
I don’t wish to reveal the whole story here. But the plot spans through years of Sultan’s life, showing his rise to success and also his eventual downfall. But the positive ending of this film will leave a smile on your face. The story is inspiring and so is Salman Khan’s acting. His portrayal of Sultan is yet another proof of his acting skills. Everyone else is also quiet believable in their respective roles.
The direction is engaging and the music is catchy. Overall this film is worth watching with your entire family.
