Amidst the constant crictics on the malcontent of plot and unwanted actions, Salman khan has come up with an excellent plot and genuine actions which justifies the plot, but a touch of "BOLLYWOOD" has let down what could have been one of a greatest movies of bollywood. Hi friends I am writing this full review as a fan of decent movies which are worth watching.
Salman khan starer "SULTAN" has surely brought yet another colour into versatility. The film stars Salman Khan, Anushka Sharma and Randep Hooda in lead.Though Randeep hooda only makes a guest appearance but has a substantial role in the plot. Playing a rugged "JAT" the son-of-the soil wrestler who fights against all the odds on and off the ring to prove himself in front of his wife Arfa played by Anushka Sharma, himself and the world, he has surely justified the super 300crore box office collection.
Plot revolves around a JAT wrestler, who accidentally enters into field of wrestling to prove his worth to a girl wrestler who is a state champion, but eventually his colours starts reflecting in the ring and the wrestler begins to defeat whoever comes in his way. He acheives every success but on the way he starts losing his closed ones. The rest is his pursuit on regaining his lost trust.
Work of Anushka Sharma is also appreciable but the personality required and the body required for a wrestler is not quitely met by her.
Music is decent with "JAG GHUMEYA", my personal best, Vishal Shekhar has done a decent job with the music which the movie wont boast off. The music could have more of sports oriented.
Salman Khan has possibly given two of the best hits of the bollywood "BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN" and "SULTAN". With his physique ideally suited for a wrestler his performance is more than promising in "SULTAN", with his unique sense of humour here and there and above all a lesson to learn from the picture that, "NO ONE CAN BEAT YOU EXCEPT YOURSELF", and you could achieve anything only that you nee to believe in youself.
All in all a good watch, suited with friends or family or spouse or with children, as "bhais" movies are generally family friendly. Looking at the trends and tastes of the movies made lately it seems that a rennaisance of thought has creeped into the bollywood to take it from present stage of melodramatic malcontent engaging and forceful entertainment to more promising versatile informative and most of all entertaining moviies. Thank you guys for reading this review, Signing off.
