Finally watched the movie last week. Was quite excited about it as this one is a box office blockbuster movies of 2016. Was ready with popcorn and cold drinks as even I am one of Salman’s fan. The first half of the movie was pretty exiting and exaggerating. Enjoyed the fun and the simplicity showcased in the first half of the movie however the movie gets quite boring and typical indian old story types when it enters the second half. The movie stands tall only because of the performances by the lead actors Salman and Anuskha.
The plot of the movie is simple enough. Nothing like we have never seen or heard of. Infact we have seen much better movies on wrestling. Salman is in love with Anushkha who is a wrestler and she challanges salman to wrestle.
Salman who is willing to do anything for Anushkha learns how to wrestle and wins many matches. Anushkha gets facinated and marries Sultan. The twist comes when Salman son dies due to rare blood availability which is available with Salman only in the whole village(LOL). Anuskha gets devasted with this behaviour and asks salman to leave.
Now salman lives a simple life. However he is forced to get back into wrestling and how he overcomes his fear and wins the wrestling and also gets Anushkha back forms the rest of the story.
Though loved the movie in bits and pieces the movies is watchable because of the soundtrack which is superb. Also the picturisation is good. All wrestle scenes can match international standards.
Overall the movie is good and must watch for Salman fans. Watch it atleast once.
